DELIVERY TERMS – SOUTH AFRICA
Subject to stock availability with suppliers and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within 2-3 working days from the date of payment reflecting.
Orders are dispatched from various warehouses around the country depending on where the stock is held.
Orders over R1200 qualify for free shipping within South Africa – ** within the terms stated below.
For orders less than R1200, courier charges will apply.
** All SALE or PROMOTIONAL items will be subject to a standard courier charge regardless of the product or total cart value.
Upon checkout - the courier options and respective charges will be given to you.
Macaroon Collection reserves its rights to use its preferred courier service depending on your location.
To ensure that your order gets to you safely (and on time), Macaroon Collection makes use of door-to-door courier services. We do not use the SA Postal service. You will be notified upon dispatch of your order and rest assured - we can track your package every moment as it makes its way to you.
Courier fees are subject to change due to supplier charge increases. Should the courier fees be more than charged upon checkout, Macaroon Collection reserves the right to charge additional courier or send to an alternate address for the client. Macaroon Collection will contact the client and make suitable arrangements in such a case.
Date of dispatch vs. Courier lead time
** Date of dispatch – the date upon which the package is handed over to the courier company after the standard order processing time.
** Courier lead time (a.k.a Delivery time) – days from when the order is handed over to the courier until it is delivered.
Subject to stock availability with suppliers and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within 2-3 working days from the date of payment reflecting and handed over to a courier company for delivery (i.e. date of dispatch).
You will be notified once the order has been dispatched and a tracking email will be sent to you.
Macaroon Collection provides two courier options upon checkout:
- Standard courier - Door to Door 5 to 7 days ** from date of dispatch
- Premium courier - Door to Door 2 to 3 days ** from date of dispatch
Orders will take approximately the indicated working days from the date of dispatch (i.e. Courier lead time) depending on if your delivery address is a main city or an outlying area.
Macaroon Collection uses the services of reputable courier services to ensure the timeous delivery of your order. However, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should these circumstances arise, Macaroon Collection will ensure its best efforts to get your order to you, however, we cannot be held liable for such delays.
Please provide extra delivery time over public and/or religious holidays.
Please ensure that the delivery address is correct. We do not take responsibility for incorrect deliveries or delayed deliveries due to incorrect addresses given to us.
Please ensure that someone will be available to receive the order at all times.
Macaroon Collection does not take responsibility for stolen items, late deliveries or damage caused during the courier of the items. We will ensure that the order is packaged and wrapped as best as possible.
COLLECTIONS FROM MACAROON COLLECTION
Upon checkout, an option is provided for the client to select “pick up” or “client to collect”.
This option is FREE and does not carry a courier charge.
Collections are only permitted BY APPOINTMENT during office hours.
Once your order has been processed as per the standard processing time of 2-3 working days from the date of payment reflecting, you will be notified via email that your order is ready for collection. Please follow the instructions as per the notification email to make an appointment for collection.
Should you wish to use your own courier services to collect your order from Macaroon Collection, we will gladly assist. No refund or rebate will be provided for the courier charges should you opt to use your own courier services. Furthermore, we do not take responsibility whatsoever for the order once the courier service has collected the items. Missing or stolen items, late deliveries or damage caused during the courier of the items with not be subject to replacement or refund.
